Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignancies in India, especially in the North East region of India. According to the medical data from Mizoram, about 30% of cancer patients suffer from stomach cancer.
Other symptoms of stomach cancer may not be apparent at first and may resemble symptoms of common illnesses such as the flu. Symptoms of stomach cancer include:

Stomach cancer treatment
Treatment depends on the diagnosis and may include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Treatment usually consists of treating, controlling, or relieving symptoms if the disease is in its early stages. If the goal is treatment, then treatment aims to eliminate side effects. The goal is to keep the cancer under control, but treatment focuses on relieving symptoms that affect quality of life, such as feeding problems, pain, and bleeding. A second opinion on cancer is always recommended.
