Warning signs of blood clots THCN T DO NOT USE

Blood clots can be life-threatening if left untreated.

However, there are some early signs that your body may be showing signs of this. If you notice any of these symptoms, it means you need to get checked regularly.

Blood clots can lead to heart attacks, strokes, or other serious health problems. Depending on where they originate in the body, they can pose several risks, and their severity increases as they travel through the bloodstream.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a vein, usually in the legs, and can be very dangerous. Symptoms of deep vein thrombosis are usually concentrated in the legs.

Four symptoms of blood clots
If caught early, the injection can dissolve the clot and help prevent any serious illness. According to WebMD, the four symptoms of a blood clot include shortness of breath, discoloration, pain, and swelling.

Difficulty breathing
When constipation begins to move from the legs to the lungs, the patient may have difficulty breathing and cough. This results in a severe reduction in blood flow to the lungs, which in turn reduces the amount of blood flowing to neighboring organs. Occasionally, patients may cough up blood or experience chest pain and dizziness, which may require a visit to the emergency room.

Swelling
When blood flow is slowed or stopped, blood clots can build up in the blood vessels and cause them to swell. WebMD says: “If it happens in your lower leg or calf, it’s usually a sign of DVT.”
The health site added: “But you can develop a blood clot in your arm or stomach. Even after it clears, one in three people still experience swelling, sometimes pain and sores from the blood vessel damage.”

Change in skin color
A person’s leg or affected area may start to turn red or blue. There are also cases where a person’s skin turns white to warn that something is wrong.

The Blood Clot Recovery health platform explains that “changes in skin color, such as pale, red, or blue or purple,” can indicate deep vein thrombosis.

Pain
Symptoms of blood clots include throbbing and cramping pain. Leg pain and discomfort may feel like muscle cramps, stiffness, or general pain. The area affected by the blood clot feels warm to the touch.
